Positive Discipline: A Class for Parents of Teens & Tweens

“You parent the way you were parented, unless you are taught differently.” Many parents are finding the way they were parented just doesn’t work today. Yet parents don’t know what to do instead. Positive Discipline philosophy and tools show parents just that – what to do INSTEAD of punishment, reward, removal of privileges, and time-outs.

In this class you will gain and understanding of how to:

• Avoid the power struggles
• See misbehavior as an opportunity to teach nonpunitive discipline—not punishment
• Instill valuable social skills and positive behavior inside and outside the home by using methods that teach important life skills
• Employ family meetings to tackle behavioral challenges
• And much, much more!
