Creating a Media Safe Home
No matter what the age of your child, media is affecting your child in ways like never before. We were 6, 11, 14 and 17 but we were never their age. Because of media, our kids experience so much so young. Parents must be students of the culture and parents today must understand how the media is affecting our kids. Did you know that the first age of a child viewing pornography is age 11? We are living in a decade many would call the death of innocence. All media is not evil but much of it isn’t good for kids either. Parents need to work through the areas of social networking, gaming, music, movies, texting and sexting. You will receive great ideas at the Confident Parenting Seminar.
