WE ARE | Ignition Youth Ministry – WestGate Church in San Jose, CA

I AM Winter Camp 2013 was a great success! A great team effort by 12 churches in the Bay Area to reach and inspire High School Student from Gilroy to San Francisco…CRAZY! We have been dreaming big and God is placing some amazing men and women in our path.

We had over 300 people up at Redwood Christian Park in Boulder Creek, CA. Dale Gustafson was our speaker and did a stellar job! The theme of the camp was Identity…finding who we are in Jesus! The worship band was made up of college students within the 12 churches…James Asselin, Sam Talbert, Linnea Locsin, Bryan Cox and Thiago DeSouza…they killed it! The pastors from each church hosted seminars to go deeper into the theme…all hit home with students. I AM Forgiven, I AM A Servant, I AM Enough, I AM Not My Parents, I AM A World Changer, I AM Confused and I AM No More…thank you! Rec was off the hook!

All in all, students, leaders and pastors walked away changed, united, encouraged and knowing that a multitude of “I AM’s” is a powerful “WE ARE” in Christ!

Feeding Santa Cruz

FEEDING SANTA CRUZ – Ignition Youth Ministry | WestGate Church in San Jose, CA.

There are nearly 2,700 homeless people living on the streets of Santa Cruz right now! Elm Street Mission is in the heart of Santa Cruz serving the homeless population all year round. Pastor Mike Crane is a faith servant bringing the Gospel to the dark and lonely streets all year long. Ignition is planning to bring a FULL THANKSGIVING MEAL and give their cooks the night off. Our goal here is to encourage, feed and love Pastor Mike, his staff, Elm Street Mission and the homeless community of Santa Cruz!

We need YOUR help! WE NEED FOOD!!! We are counting on Ignition Families giving back to this amazing Mission that we have partnered with for over 5 years now. Can you help? Can you cook a bird? Can you make some stuffing? Can you spare some cranberries?  SIgn up below to DONATE FULLY COOKED FOOD on Sunday, November 25, 2013.

WHERE: Meet at WestGate with FULLY cooked food at 330pm, we will carpool to Elm Street Mission, serve, clean up, get some Ice Cream and back to WestGate Church at 930pm.

I AM WINTER CAMP 2013 | Ignition Youth Ministry, WestGate Church in San Jose, CA.

Ignition is UNITING with 12 other churches for Winter Camp in 2013! We are very excited to see what Jesus will accomplish this year and how He will be glorified! We will have tons of fun, teaching, seminars, food, laughs, cries, worship and JESUS! DO NOT MISS IT!

There are many places where we try and find our IDENTITY. But we should find our Identity in Christ, and Christ alone! Our prayer is for everyone to walk away and hopefully be saying and believing some of the following: I AM forgiven. I AM free from all shame and condemnation. I AM a world changer. I AM walking by faith. I AM trusting in God. I AM completely whole. I AM walking in God’s love. I AM beloved. I AM a coheir with Christ. I AM loved by God.

WHEN: January 25 – 27

WHERE: Redwood Christian Park, Boulder Creek, CA.

WHO: High School Students

THE CHURCHES: Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, Campbell Church of Christ, Church On The Hill, Community Church, Morgan Hill Bible Church, Neighborhood Bible Church, Orchard Community Church, Saratoga Federated, Saratoga Presbyterian, South Bay Church, Trinity Church, Valley Church and WestGate Church!!!
