IGNITION at Mike’s House!!!

We are MOVING church this coming weekend to Mike’s House!

The NINERS are playing at 3:30pm and this is to see if they get into the SuperBowl! SO we are going to switch locations and schedule a little!

Details:

Where: Mike’s House
Date: Sunday, January 22
Time : 3:30-7:00pm
COST: $5 – this will cover snacks drinks and DINNER!
Who: High School Students
OTHER: There will be other things to do, foosball, Wii and TWISTER!!!

SO this is the change up…we will watch the game and during the commercials, people will have chance to give testimonies or talk about what Jesus is doing in their lives!!! During Half-Time, we will have a message and worship!

SMALL GROUPS will have the option of watching the game or meeting!

The Road Trip

Summer is here and this is the Ignition Summer Camp!

Summer+RV+Road Trip+Helping a ton of people=PRICELESS!

You do not want to miss this time to build community, have fun, connect with Jesus in a whole different way and serve in so many different ways as we drive down south!

The Opportunities: Beach Clean Up, Homeless Outreach, Serving with Tim Buchanan and his Youth Group, Projects at Hope of the Valley near Tim, Serving kids at Central City Community Outreach, Serving SKID ROW, HOMELESS Karaoke in Skid Row, Projects/Outreach in Skid Row and so much more!

The San Diego leg of trip and been cancelled.

The Church

We share Jesus’s LOVE through relationships in  COMMUNITY!

Ignition has started this Fall with a fresh start. We are building on what has been set before us and looking forward as we make The Shift.

Our focus this week was learning about how to share Jesus’ LOVE through relationships in COMMUNITY. Small Groups is what we are talking about folks! That is what we do and we desire to make these groups the best they can be. We have some FANTASTIC people that love Jesus and love students and want to guide down the right road.

Back to it…Mike Morales dove into the Acts 2 Church and painted a picture of what Ignition could and should look like! What could life look like if we DEVOTED ourselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer? What could life look like if we EXPECTED God to do something amazing when we came to church? What could life look like if we SHARED, cared and provided for everyone according to their needs? And what could like look like if we PRAISED Him for everything…good and bad…and saw people come to Christ everyday? What could life look like if we really took our faith and BEING the church seriously?
